Shiretoko Pass
This is the highest point of the Shiretoko Crossing Road connecting Shari-cho Utoro and Rausu-cho, a pass at an altitude of 738m. Located on the ridge of the Shiretoko mountain range, if the weather is good, you can see far away from the northern territory and Kunashir. It is a spot where you can overlook the magnificent Mt. Rausu while crossing the Shiretoko Peninsula, and there may be residual snow even in late July. -
Shiretoko Goko Lakes
Five fantastic lakes surrounded by old growth forest. It is a primitive paradise that reflects the surrounding forests and the Shiretoko Mountains on the surface of the lake and honors the silence. Visitors can meet many plants and animals in the rich nature. -
Oshinkoshin Falls
The largest waterfall in Shiretoko, which was selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls. Because the flow is divided into two hands, it is also called "Futami Falls", and you can feel the power up close. -
Oronco rock
A huge rock with a height of about 60m that rises near Utoro Port. It is a superb view spot where you can climb the stairs to the top and overlook the port and the sea of Shiretoko. -
Sunset stand
A famous sunset overlooking Sea of Okhotsk and Utoro Port. You can enjoy the beautiful sunset scenery of the four seasons, and it is also popular as a date spot. -
Cape Puyuni
A famous spot for superb views and sunsets on the uphill slope on the way to Shiretoko Nature Center. In winter, it is one of the spots where you can see drift ice quickly. -
Flepe Falls
A waterfall with a height of about 100m that flows down from the cracks of the cliff. It is also called "the tears of the maiden" because of the appearance of water falling like a drop. -
Kamui Wakkayu Falls
An unusual waterfall that springs from the middle of Mt. Io flow in and the whole river looks like a hot spring. It is a natural spot where you can enjoy natural hot spring.
