  • Shiretoko Pass

    Shiretoko Pass

    This is the highest point of the Shiretoko Crossing Road connecting Shari-cho Utoro and Rausu-cho, a pass at an altitude of 738m. Located on the ridge of the Shiretoko mountain range, if the weather is good, you can see far away from the northern territory and Kunashir. It is a spot where you can overlook the magnificent Mt. Rausu while crossing the Shiretoko Peninsula, and there may be residual snow even in late July.

    Shiretoko Goko Lakes

    Five fantastic lakes surrounded by old growth forest. It is a primitive paradise that reflects the surrounding forests and the Shiretoko Mountains on the surface of the lake and honors the silence. Visitors can meet many plants and animals in the rich nature.
