After arriving at the airport, rent a car and head to Shiretoko, a World Natural Heritage Site full of nature!

Oshinkoshin Falls is one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls. You can go up the stairs to the height of the middle of the waterfall, and the waterfall you can see in front of you with splashing is impressive.

Take a sightseeing boat departing from Utoro and enjoy the superb view of Shiretoko, such as cliffs that cannot be seen on the ground and Kamui Wakanoyu Falls. You can spend a relaxing time with less shaking on a large ship.

There are shops lined with specialty products unique to Shiretoko and restaurants where you can enjoy meals, making it a recommended roadside rest area that is easy to access sightseeing spots. Flepe Falls is a rare waterfall with no river upstream called a submerged waterfall, which flows out of a cliff of about 100m and flows down. The amount of water is small throughout the year, and it is nicknamed "Tears of the Maiden" because of the water that spills down with Jolo. You can walk along the promenade from Shiretoko Nature Center to observation deck.

Located along the Shiretoko Crossing Road, observation deck is the best spot in Hokkaido where you can fully enjoy the magnificent nature throughout the four seasons. You can see Rausu-dake, the main peak of the Shiretoko volcano group rising in the middle of the Shiretoko Peninsula right in front of you.

We also recommend the popular product "Lake Mashu Specialty Imo Dango" and "Mashu Blue Soft", which can only be eaten here. Perfect for a break while enjoying the spectacular view of the magnificent Lake Mashu and the Nekusu Plateau spreading on the back.

The famous hot spring "Kawayu Onsen", which has been popular as herbal bath since ancient times, is recommended for sightseeing and accommodation in a calm atmosphere. You can enjoy a relaxing time by strolling through the source-flowing footbath in Kawayu Onsen Street and the “sakhalin spruce Forest” where you can walk from there.

An observation area just south of Teshikaga city. You can overlook the large ranch run by Teshikaga town, where about 2,300 Holsteins are grazed. It has shops and restaurants, and grassland milk soft ice cream and Genghis Khan are popular in the rest house.

Hosooka Observatory is one of the most popular observation deck locations in the vast Kushiro Marsh. With the Kushiro River meandering in the marsh, we boast that the view is so good that it is called by the nickname of "Okanmi".

This is a complex commercial facility known as a landmark of Kushiro, and is a popular tourist spot where you can enjoy shopping as well as restaurants. Kushiro River, which flows in front of you, is also famous as one of the world's best sunset spots.

A typical tourist spot in Kushiro where you can enjoy the largest wetland in Japan, Kushiro Marsh. In promenade, which is in contact with the facility, you can feel the magnificent view of Kushiro Marsh and the cool breeze.

There are plenty of hot springs near the beautiful Lake Akan. Walks of Lake Akan Ainu Kotan and night walks are also popular after bath.

Lake Onneto is a 2.5 km circumference lake located in Akan Mashu National Park. Surrounded by nature, it attracts various beautiful scenery along with the changing colors of the lake surface.
